We are many Scrum Masters out there, addressing similar topics in different organizations through our servant leadership. This book aims to define some of the traits that distinguish Scrum Masters, or Servant Leaders, that have taken the next step in their journey, thereby having an immense impact on the teams they coach.  

Through many real-life stories teams often face, this book gives inspiration and advice to take your Scrum Mastership to the next level. 

Reading tips

The book consists of nine fairly short chapters. They explore team behaviors where a dysfunction or a plateau has been reached and examples of how a Great Scrum Master could address those cases. It is very easy to read, making it a good candidate also for a book circle with reflections after each chapter.
 
It encourages the reader to think outside the box to achieve the desired behaviors of a high–performing agile team. The first letters of each chapter combined form the word “RETRAINED,” highlighting the book’s focus on personal growth and development.
